I kinda think the problem is that Kafka is scared to lose control more-so than it being the parasite not wanting to work. Cuz they did demonstrate his hesitation and fear, so I think it's the phenomenon (that affected me in acrobatics, actually) where you can do 100 scary jumps just fine when you're fresh and confident, excited to learn new tricks, but as soon as you fall and take a bad injury, all of a sudden you can't jump as far anymore because you freeze up your muscles by hesitating. Or another fun example I learned in kung-fu was you think you can't touch the floor when you bend, so you hesitate and bend at the waist, but if you make yourself belive you can touch the floor and lean in with confidence, you're more likely to bend at the hips (he would have us practice by stretching our arms way up in the air and go with the momentum without second guessing and freezing up.) Even those of us who weren't flexible or in my case, have scoliosis could touch the ground for a second. I think it's like that. He's freezing his parasite muscle lol

Kikoru axe doesn't affect her. You will learn more about the number suits in few episodes later. Steph you asked "is this equally spread out in Japan no matter where you go" , pretty much yes, kaiju's are all over the world, worst parts are countries facing the ocean. Specially Japan they are in one the worst part facing the Pacific ocean.
