Herodiade and an expensive learning experience:
We were shooting this near Lago Verde in Lanzarote. My car was (apparently) trespassing on a natural reserve. They waited 6 months to send me the fine, which they said would be between €700-7000 + legal fees if it goes to court.
Unless you settle fast, then it’s only €500. Morale:
Don’t fuck around with the Spanish law.
They are masters at blackmail.
The images were great, though; I like the part about having the model lie in shallow water. I would have preferred a bit more clouds as this would have caused more reflections in the water, but that's to explore another time.
