I think this set with D Genevievre works well. It was lit with a lamp shooting into a white reflective umbrella, a 52” Westcott Apollo from memory placed on a boom. The light from the windows didn’t work, so I had to go artificial. I pulled the light away from the window to create the darker wall, as I needed the white body to stand out from the background.
I also loved the contrast and light of the carpet to improve separation and focus on her.
I will have to try doing this with a striplight at some point (I have just adapted one to my Profoto lamps as it’s not out of reach) to see if I can get a better look that needs less post-production. I’ll keep you posted when I do.
