Added 2024-03-01 15:00:09 +0000 UTCWhen I shot with Dharma, she asked if we should shoot some images with a body. My facial expression may have revealed a lack of enthusiasm as she quickly jumped into a sales pitch, showing me it was crotchless.
Then I remembered Aubade’s “Leçon de séduction” Advertising series shot by Herve Lewis. When shooting white garments in a backlit environment, white is brighter than the skin and reflects more light.
This means you can underexpose the body while still having the appearance of a correct exposure.
So I took one for the team and did a series with lingerie ;)
