This model has gone through something of a transformation lately:

When we first talked, she would only shoot implied nudes. I declined as I generally find it too limiting unless the model is very experienced.

Then she said she would do topless but would like to cover her genitals with tape during the shoot. I declined again, but mostly because I do not want to shoot with someone I’m not confident will appreciate doing it. And I had a feeling she might regret doing the shoot later on.

So we arranged to meet and discuss things, and I showed her a project I’m working on. Her main issue was that she was afraid other people would find her vulva to be ugly.

And I’m happy to say she has progressed a lot and is embracing her body entirely differently, as you can see in these images.

I would have preferred to shoot these in daylight, but it was January 2, overcast with snow, and there hardly was any light. So I bounced a lamp head into the wall and my Venetian blinds to mimic daylight. It’s not quite the same, but it worked for this.

If you compare the light here to similar images from the lounge sofa, you can tell the light seems more artificial here.

It’s missing the aspect of going through something (an aperture), which will make it disperse differently from just being reflected.
