I'm sure if only adults were powerful or had the potential to be powerful, he wouldn't care for kids. The fact that he tingles anywhere for a kid makes everyone who calls him a pedo valid. its weird and directed at a child. even if its not only directed at children.

For me though, I do prefer outsmarting my opponents and its even more satisfying when you're at a disadvantage and pull off an upset. I'm not saying people who love warrior classes are dumb, but I guess power punching your way out with well honed physical attributes isnt just my cup of tea.

Transmuters/Manipulators would be the mages. Conjurers would definitely be summoners. Specialists would probably be that niche class that is like a glass canon with the right build under certain circumstances :D Oh yeah I forgot about Emitters, probably sort of Archer class where people shoot projectiles. Nothing special lol

They tend to be honest, forthright, and driven by their emotions. Transmuters: Whimsical and unpredictable personalities. They are often playful, deceitful, and have a unique way of thinking. Conjurers: High-strung and overly serious individuals. They are typically stoic, analytical, and detail-oriented. Emitters: Impatient and not detail-oriented. They can be quick-tempered, straightforward, and prefer to act rather than plan. Manipulators: Logical people who advance at their own pace. They are methodical, observant, and often good at understanding others. Specialists: Independent and individualistic. They tend to be charismatic, mysterious, and not bound by conventions. Honestly adds so much depth to the show makes it feel so alive and unique, Togashi really wrote a masterpiece.

2024-12-27 07:15:20 +0000 UTCAs everyone is busy with Hisoka, let’s not forget the introduction of the Nen types. :) The six Nen types play a big role in the show, as simply knowing your Nen type already reveals a lot about how you might fight. Enhancement: Strengthens oneself or objects. Transmutation: Changes the quality of aura to match something else. Emission: Detaches aura from the body. Conjuration: Creates objects from aura. Manipulation: Controls animate and inanimate things. Specialization: Produces unique effects that don’t fit into any other category. As already explained, it’s possible to learn abilities from every Nen type, not just your own (except for Specialization, which can only be used by those who fall into that category). However, it’s generally not recommended, as using the same amount of energy results in a weaker ability, and it’s impossible to fully master a category other than the one you’re born with. That said, it can still be useful to acquire abilities from other categories or combine them in certain situations, even if they don’t reach their maximum potential. Fun fact about the Nen types: All categories are roughly equally represented, ranging from about 15% to 25% - except for Specialization. While Enhancement is apparently the most common Nen type, Specialization is by far the rarest, with only 0.0X% of people falling into that category.

I don’t want to see him hurt badly by other nen users. As boring as it is, realistically it’s the safest option for Gon to have. After all he managed to make Hisoka bleed by that one punch, when he just learned Nen, improving more on that will surely keep our boy safe. Sure he is the protagonist, but also he is a kid, and I don’t like watching kids getting hurt fictional or not.

Just hitting harder than others usually isn’t very interesting. The more specific your ability is, the less leeway you have to explore new things, I would say. That’s why main characters often start with a rather simple and boring ability at the beginning, so the author has more room to play around with and upgrade it as the story progresses.

In the manga, he’s checking their whole body - not just looking at their asses. He’s observing from top to bottom, because he hasn’t seen them for a long time, and they were training. He notices that they’ve gotten stronger, so he’s “checking them out” and is excited about the fact that they’ve improved. Nobody is saying it isn’t weird - it is - but come on, how much can you exaggerate? It’s supposed to be controversial, even in the manga. The anime just takes it a step further. As for the bath scene - on Greed Island ? He’s just taking a bath, and they barge in. What more is there to it? They show off their aura, he gets excited, and, as usual, he uses ambiguous language. As I already said, there’s no reason to "discuss" or "explain" it. People will believe what they want to believe. Hisoka is ambiguous on purpose; it’s just a matter of how much is already too much for you. If an ass-shot is enough to convince you that the character is a pedophile, then that’s what you believe, and nobody will be able to change your opinion.

2024-12-27 04:47:26 +0000 UTCEnhancers might be boring description wise, but in combat when they land hit and both Nen users are on the same tier, the damage delivered by an enhancer is higher than any other Nen type user who is on the same tier as the Enchancer. By same tier, I mean as experienced with Nen as whoever they’re fighting.

He does enjoy his violence but he doesn't seek it out. He can be reasonable and almost nice. I wouldn't personally call him evil either. He definitely grows on you the further into the series he goes. By the 4-5 arc he's actually quite enjoyable.

Definitely a weirdo and a pervert, but branding him as a pedophile is just crazy to me. He's not supposed to be a good guy; he's ambiguous and unsettling on purpose. Even the serial killer thing is arguable - he's not running around killing random people just to kill them. I mean, look at Killua, for example - an even more popular character who actually is/was a serial killer - but nobody has a problem with him as it seems.

HxH absolutely deserved it though and the nen is only just getting started

2024-12-26 21:05:02 +0000 UTCThose who say Hisoka is a pedophile completely got the character wrong and its very common among the fanbase. - Hisoka is just like your MMA fighter, loves to fight, but the downside is he just takes it to the extreme and goes deathmatch mode. - He loves strong people, regardless of age, as shown when he wants to fight Netero or the Phantom Troupe, and thats where he derives his pleasure from and gets aroused, so he's not a pedo. - And lastly, he's not a serial killer for christ sake. Do you see him on a civilan killing spree? No. Do you see him killing non-fighters for any reason? No. Sure he's a gray character leaning towards non ethical stuff, but thats what makes this show interesting, it's strongly depicts the real world where things are not purely black and white.
