Time to unwrap the presents?
Added 2023-12-24 15:00:01 +0000 UTCSince Christmas is approaching, I thought showing some images involving “gift wrapping” would be appropriate.
This is daylight from two windows straight behind the camera and shot with my 50mm ƒ0.95 lens. I’m so in love with the bokeh and how the sharpness quickly disappears outside the focal area. This look is close to what you can get when shooting in large format (4x5”/8x10”), especially with older lenses near full aperture.

And since it’s almost Christmas, that brings me to my wishes:
An 4x5 camera with a Kodak Aero Ektar 178 mm and some polaroid 45 with a negative.
Pleeeeease, Santa, If I get that under the tree, I promise to (mis)behave in the most pleasurable ways.
