An old set with Zoi shot around a workshop I conducted in Copenhagen about 2013 (yeah, I’m clearing out a few of the “leftovers” so I can concentrate on the new shoots).
I rented a fabulous studio loft where we did the workshop, and the model would stay overnight. It is a great place with natural light on two sides of the apartment from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
I rented the same place for another workshop three years later for another workshop. But I didn’t realize the city had further developed the area and erected a high-rise building right next to the place I rented, obscuring the view.
Oh well, you can’t own the air, you see.
But it pays to check before booking expensive venues - onsite if possible.
Notice in the first image how I'm using the blackout drapes as a flag to remove unwanted light and thus create a very directional light.
