The Gorgeous Nausicaa Yami frolicking in black sand on a beach.
This is all figure work: creating shapes.
I’ve noticed a tendency in many similar images:
You have a model that makes (beautiful) shapes, but the model is disconnected from the environment.
There is no connection between the model and the surroundings. This is a typical issue for photographers shooting nudes on location if they have not carefully thought about what makes an image good (hint boobs are generally not enough) and are executing those sentiments.
In my ART Nude on Location: Mastering Natural Light, I have a full instruction video on overcoming this and making images where the model connects with the environment and the viewer.
What are your thoughts on this?
