This is a little “catch-up” series with Carillon Doll shot at an abandoned church in Milan.
It’s all-natural light.
I loved working with her, but I will never recommend her to anyone:
After this, we set up another shoot in Copenhagen, but she canceled a week before (allegedly) due to COVID-19.
Then we rearranged a trip to Lanzarote with a workshop and 1:1 shooting afterward.
Two weeks before, she informed me she had booked some other days than arranged as they didn’t fit her - unfortunately, it was not the days we were doing a workshop, which put me in a precarious situation of having to find another model and fly her down there.
Before Lanzarote, I had agreed to teach a workshop in Soresina, Italy; she was one of the models there.
As compensation for Lanzarote, we arranged to shoot two days after the Soresina workshop.
But Lo and behold: On the evening after the workshop, she told me she had mental issues and could not shoot for the next two days (leaving me with two days of studio booking, hotel, and rental car - and no chance to find an alternative model within 12 hours).
I’ve heard similar stories from other photographers - and models - about her.
Behavior like that is not worth it, regardless of how great she is.
