What’s up everyone. My list has continued to feel great, and I’ve made some changes based on the meta decks decks posting the most results. I’ve also moved a couple slots around based on the amazing performance of a couple cards. Finally, I have included a few notes about the new counterspell, Stern Scolding which has real potential!

Notes:
FON moved to main to replace 1 Shredder. I have been vocal about disliking shredder in game 1’s where it is the least linear threat and often is extremely awkward into a linear opponent, especially on the draw. To address this I’ve swapped 1 force of negation to the maindeck. FON has overperformed time and time again and I believe it deserves a maindeck slot. The other option is to keep FON in the sideboard and play a 4th counterspell. My preference is for FON as the format has moved to a very linear place and we are often happy to trade 2 cards for a big tempo gain.
I also have added 1 Tormod’s crypt. Living End and Fair Breach are very popular online in challenges and I expect that to continue into the showcase. I expect these decks to be more popular than Hardened Scales and Hammer so I replaced the brotherhoods end.
One final option is to replace Tormod’s crypt with the new counterspell, Stern Scolding. Scolding hits many creatures that get ETB value, making bolt and heat ineffective answers. It trades even or up on mana making it potentially very strong. Noteable targets that don’t trade well with red removal: Stoneforge Mystic, Solitude, Grief, Seasoned Pyromancer, Yawgmoth, Hangarback Walker, Risen Reef. As well as it’s ability to counter most 1 and 2 drop creatures. For now I don’t feel confident recommending it, and it does feel closer to a maindeck card for its flexibility, so maybe it can replace ledger shredder as well for a 1-1 split if you are keen to try it out!
