These are character notes describing how Sadie functions, especially compared to Lars and Ronaldo.
I really saw them as a character study in different flawed upbringings. They all had different reactions to bullying: Lars ran away from everything trying to change himself, Ronaldo stayed a little more true to who he was but has cut everyone off, and Sadie sat there and resigned herself to whatever everyone else said.
