SU Trigger Warning Dark Matter Concepts "The F Word" Lars and Ronny

This is a short comic I made while working on Horror Club.

If you're triggered by homophobia, bullying or certain slurs, then read no further, This post might be a bit rough.

Its hard to show these types of things without showing the "bad" parts so I would just draw things in my sketchbook. I would see the bad things myself and write with them in mind.

Woven into the fabric of Lars and Ronaldo is a lot of homophobic bullying toward them. Paul and I both experienced a lot of bullying (and both relate heavily to Lars and Ronaldo) so it was important to both of us that there be some of that in there. In the subtext.

Even though I grew up presenting as a 'girl" all of my friends were boys. I was teased for being a "lesbian" and they were all being called "faggot" and "pussy". I knew if I ever wanted to present as a man, that my tendency to cry easily would be ripped apart even more than it already was with me presenting as a "girl".

Wisconsin in the 80's/90s' was not kind. I don't imagine its changed all that much. But I'll never know :D (no offense to anyone still living there! LOL)
