I drew these for Island Adventure and thought seeing what Sadie wears instead of her uniform would be an interesting shot at revealing some more of her character.
Its kind of a long story, but there are elements of Lars and Sadie that are heavily influenced by my relationship with my first boyfriend when I was younger. Our relationship was heavily built on our love of horror, so I wanted to incorporate that into Sadie. This decision lead to Horror Club and the horror theme of Sadie's band later on.
The werewolf shirt design was later seen in The New Lars.
The Puke shirt is a real shirt that I really owned.
