Hi there,

here goes another sign of life!

We‘re working hard as ever, but oftentimes it‘s very hard to write meaningful updates as the changes and new bits are all over the place, so please excuse us for not being very active around here.

We reached another milestone just this last week with Date Mode now being feature-complete. That means we got all the mechanics in there and it‘s fully playable, so we can now begin to fill it with all the story content we had done last year and scatter it around all the boards our level designer has already crafted. Later on, the mode will receive all the polishing it needs and deserves, covering all kinds of animations, effects and sounds to make it look and feel awesome.

For the first time, it‘s actually the X-Mode that is now a bit further away from being finished. We want to give it one more game design pass to make sure it is the most fun it can be while allowing the player to enjoy the featured XXX animations. That has always been one of the biggest hurdles in designing this part of the game, as we want to preserve the interesting, varied gameplay without making it too intense to notice what‘s going on in the background. But – as always – we‘re confident that we will get there eventually, as we did with the Date Mode :)

On top of that, we got the mixing and mastering of the voices in progress and are finalizing the last few screens and a couple of game elements bit by bit. A first draft of a balancing spreadsheet filled with hundreds of values is also in progress. The next big step will be an internal version with all gameplay in place. The schedule is tight so I‘d better get back to work now.
