I'm not sure about that being a subclass that sits side by side with the others. If the weakness of casters is felt, probably just want to apply a universal buff instead of have to effectively give up a Thesis

I just listened to this video and had an interesting idea. Wouldn’t the perfect solution to the I want power at the expense of versatility be a locus (focus) that you could prepare that added a bonus to spell attack rolls AND spell damage rolls; but you prepared this focus in place of a Staff (that gives extra spells).
