Antediluvian - Old comic project

Since I was asked to share some pages from this project that I mentioned in that old artworks post here's everything I worked for it.
It was called Antediluvian, written by Ulises Farinas & Robert Mediavilla, a proposed comic mini series about the Old testament mixed with the early history of Earth. Basically Adam and Eve and their descendents roaming around Pangeia. Dinosaurs and the like.
I think that layout for the "banishing from the garden" double page is still pretty damn good but the apple eating scene is my favorite: It was meant to be presented like an acid trip (mostly via the coloring), which is a take I really enjoy.
Following those 5 or 6 test pages are my entire layouts for issue #1.
I find the concept pretty boring now, to be frank, but was pretty excited by it at the time and still quite like some of the art I did for this.
The project didn't go anywhere and ended in a somewhat sour note for me: I did a bunch of work for this and never saw a dime for my time which is funny considering the guy behind this project spent (maybe still does) a majority of his time online screaming about the poor treatment artists receive. The guy turned out to be a creep and later on an NFTer so I'm very glad our professional relationship didn't go any further.
Probably my fault for not asking for fair pay but I was younger and still under a delusion that the comics business was this great industry I needed to break into or something like that :)
ANYWAY, I'm happy I did these pages. I was in the process of trading the pen nibs for the brush at the time and these pages ended up being the place to test a few new techniques at the time. When this project fell through I went on to focus on Andromeda (House on The Horizon, I'm pretty sure) and since then I've lost any interest in collaborating with writers. So much more interesting to write my own stuff.
