What doesn't kill you.. is highly disruptive and still annoying

I had a bit of a run-in with death (again), three or four re-locations, being borderline-comatose for >two years due to medical complications... and came out of that to find myself locked out of my own youtube account.
Ceasing to exist for two years is apparently not affable to keeping one's phone number, and that in turn resulted in being locked out of my own account and chain-spammed emails whenever I attempted to log in.
Attempting to recover it resulted in being spammed with emails - to myself - telling me that someone - using the same email, myself - tried to log into my account. While sending the same account (which is also the same as the account email tied into the account) emails that they could not verify that the account was the same one they were chain-spamming emails to, alerting me that someone tried to log in. While sending back-to-back emails to the same address telling me it could not be verified.. so that's been going oddly.
At time of posting I have not yet successfully recovered my youtube account yet, but am still working on the issue - I am posting a quick update so that people receiving news that I am in fact still "alive"* (asterisk) have something to be pointed to as proof and a bit of reassurance.

The above is an extremely brief nutshell of events, and my survival was not guaranteed or even expected at some points. It's a great relief to know that if this is where my tale ended, my legacy would have lived on in capable hands. This means the world to me.
