SandStorm - Status : News of the week #40 [v0.9]

I hope you guys had a nice week.

After making a lot of progress on SnowStorm these last 2 weeks, I'm starting to resume work on SandStorm.

Now, most of the routes are definitive and will be pretty independent (except 1 or 2 that are still in balance).

Therefore, for v0.9, I will complete each route one after the other, and not all the routes at the same time as it can be a bit unmotivating as the progress would be slow. Besides just focusing on a route will help keep this route consistent, as sometimes when you do many scenes/script at the same time, you can lose focus on what is important for each route, or even create confusion.

Also, it will allow a much longer beta testing phase where adjustments will be still possible if any problems appear.

Therefore the following release will be called v0.9r or v0.9m or v0.9n or v0.9e, then v0.9rm , v0.9rmn etc... depending on the order I make them. 

The special routes will be done last.

I will give you the possibility to choose the order of completion of the first routes. I'll assume that the route that gets the most votes, will be the route you want to see first. 

All those partial builds will be exclusively for patrons with different schedules depending on your tier. Only once all routes are done, I'll release a v0.9final that will be available to all public. If you do not wish to play the routes separately and prefer to play once all routes are made, then you will just need a bit of patience :).

At least the first route (and maybe the second) will be done in December. The rest will be done in January. Complete v0.9 release expected at the end of January if everything goes well.

On another subject, I remind you that a beta version of the demo of SnowStorm will be ready at the end of this month in about 1 week / 10 days. 

If you wish to become a beta tester for SnowStorm, you can already apply by sending me a private message here or contacting me on Discord. 

Requirements: Having discord, being able to provide good feedback, and having enough time to test several times the game to find mistakes. Only 3 spots.

Then the beta version will be gradually available during the month of December according to your tier, until Xmas where the definitive version of the demo will be released to the public.
