My fantastic, congenial, indispensable daughter modelled both men, AND has near-perfect Kaladin hair. =D
So yes, I finished Wind and Truth - the last book in the Stormlight Archive series (for now) - and instead of drawing the epic scenes that will traumatise me for yet another few more weeks, I go back to draw Kaladin riling up Adolin over browsing fashion folios. Which I’m sure is a totally normal reaction to finishing that book, if the Internet is to be believed…
I still can’t believe I read five thousand-plus-pagers over the course of two months. 😳

I’m gonna say this a lot but just know I mean it every time: this is one of my favorite scenes, lol! I remember my imagination running away with me and writing a short something to go along with it from Adolin’s POV, wherein he imagines Kaladin in said fashionable ensemble. 🤣 But yeah, I adore WoR-era Kadolin, and Adolin’s fashion sense (every time he begrudgingly remarked on Sadeas’ fashion sense too was so good, as a lover of both Sadeas and fashion lol)
