Finished fox vendor

The Simple Minds concert was great and really everything my hubby could have wished for (Del Amitri, being supporting act, was a little short, and was made worse by the fact that many people arrived only when they were playing and we constantly had to get up and let people go through). It was great to see them again though, and they played nearly all my favourites among the ten songs they had. I'd seen Del Amitri twice in the nineties, and I hadn’t quite been prepared for the audience being between fifty and sixty on average, haha. The kids had not been prepared for a night out among 6000+ senior citizens singing their hearts out either. 😂
As for the rest of the trip, it was cold and wet, and it was good that I didn’t book for more nights. We filled two days with more or less waterproof activities, but it’s good to go home now. But look, there definitely was time to paint!

It definitely was an experience for them! And Jana harvested two songs from each band for her playlists, so, win-win!

2024-03-28 18:46:31 +0000 UTCWhat a dapper fellow! Not entirely trustworthy, maybe, but definitely charismatic. And I’m glad you had a good time; I hope your kids did too! I was often the lone kid/teenager in a crowd of grownups, and I remember feeling terribly sophisticated/grown-up myself.
