Time for heroics (and Oxonmoot!)

Just 24 hours after his mum told him not to be a hero... but when he sees Imogen down on the ground, being mauled by a 13-foot-tall fiend, of course Orym jumps down from a tower.

Originally, this would just have been Orym jumping/running, but I was at my father-in-law's 80th birthday yesterday (which resembled a wannabe carnival session with the whole shebang including a polonaise and "Schunkeln"), so I disassociated as well as I could and just kept adding to this piece.

Including an awed Fresh Cut Grass. Last episode, Orym told the others that Keyleth (who looks as if she's twenty) was already the leader of the Air Ashari when Orym (who's in his thirties) was a little boy, and when asked how this was possible, he told them that it was because of her Aramenté, her quest/ordeal to become the leader of her people (and in-game, because she's a high-level druid and those just stop aging). F.C.G., in their born-yesterday way, then suggested Orym was as much a hero as Keyleth was and he should get started on his Aramenté, and wouldn't accept Orym's protestations that he was not a leader and not a druid and that totally wasn't his place, so everytime Orym was being a hero last episode, F.C.G. would pipe up, "Yeah, Orym! Do your Aramenté!"

In Tolkien news, which of you will be at Oxonmoot? I snagged a last-minute spot, as I have Fridays off this term which opens up all sorts of possibilities for weekend conventions! I'll be mostly be in the dealer's room, but I'll be there Thursday night to Sunday morning! =D
