Back to (digital) watercolour...

I've been fiddling with this for days - meant it to be another digital oil painting, and hit the snag I always hit when I do a few gouache (or acrylic, or oil) studies from photos - without a photo, I'm lost. In the end, the good thing was I'd laid out the lineart and the colour layers from the start, so I could just appropriate them for my new watercolour texture thing, which worked so well so fast that it seemed to tell me, "Girl, why don't you stick to things that actually look good?!"

I'm just not a photorealistic painter. I can wing it with familiar mediums and light-to-dark approaches, but if you pull that rug, that's it, haha.

So yes, here's rabbit!Orym. There was a funny episode a few weeks ago where they all talked about what kind of were-animal they'd like to run into, and Orym said he'd be a were-rabbit, which was so spot on that I've wanted to draw an anthro rabbit of him since then. ;)
