Welcome to new Patrons Amanda, Viki, Abrealia, and Denrhea! Woo-hoo!
So, this is taking longer than expected, because this piece, and the idea to use my own textures, is about to absolutely revolutionise my workflow and digital art look! I spent the last few days creating more than twenty full-sized texture backgrounds with my favourite colours. After doing the first that I showed you, I realised that I could do this, with relatively little bother, for just about every piece, and even better, for pretty much every area of every piece, with the exact gradient I want.
So I went to town with this and did ten more even gradients to insert into images, with some very different skin tones (from human to genaasi) and I also did one that may feature as Orym's breatplate one day, hee.

I kept them all pretty light, for what will be a first watercolour wash, with detailing on top I can do in procreate.
If you're wondering how this works, check out my old tutorial on how to use gold leaf in Procreate, it uses the exact same technique. You paint something in as a placeholder, and then put a texture file in this place. You have no idea how happy this makes me. I can splash around with actual pigments, and I can put them into my paintings as exact as they need to be. And those TONS and TONS of watercolour paper and paints are finally being let out of the closet (literally!)
And because it's my birthday and a proper hobbit needs to me give presents on their birthday, have the four most-voted textures from last time, plus "Bronze and Green" (aka Orym =D)
Edit: I've re-uploaded them as a .zip file because Patreon didn't show them in their original (insane) resolution! =)
(Fun fact: "Red Bull", named for the Last Unicorn because it totally reminded me of the colours, caused this to be flagged as "Copyright infringement" when I tried to upload the set on Teespring... because of the drink!)
