Poor little Agnes. I don't want to ask those trees if they've seen my firecrest.
Working on backgrounds and trying to find some sort of workflow (with the emphasis on flow). Once thing I've noticed is that working in Procreate is fun during the drawing stage (the same as on paper, really), great when it is all finished, and an absolute chore while colouring. Right now, it's got little of the meditative affair that is painting with watercolours. Aaah, I don't know. Maybe the next piece will be more watercoloury again. I have all month to try around. :)
Still got until tomorrow to finish this, hope to be on time this time!
I've managed to make my drawing space so much more satisfying - painting on the iPad means I don't have to sit at my cluttered desk (yes, I could tidy it, theoretically, but it never seems to stick!), and I've turned the living room into my happy place. I got the armchairs of armchairs from IKEA. You know how, in Harry Potter, an armchair is never an armchair, but always a squashy armchair? That's what mine is. Add some throw blankets, new pillow-cases in turquoise, curtains with a gold-to-white gradient, and you have my new art cave. <3 I need to take a photo tomorrow.
Still, I constantly have to fight over the space with my son (because PlayStation), daughter (because squashy armchair) and both cats (because throw blankets).
