Four more ACEOs for Tuesday! (I think all of them look just terrific as a set, and have already looked into printing options.)
Here are Éomer, Faramir, Celebrimbor, and Lúthien.
I ADORE this Lúthien. Lúthien is a character I've always loved to paint, and who also presents a huge challenge - how do you portray someone inhumanely beautiful? As a consequence, she's changed more over time than other characters in my head, as I usually adjusted her to my current image of perfection.
That image of perfection was jogged a couple of days ago. My hubby and I were flicking through channels, and caught the last half-minute of a film, which consisted solely of a woman's face against an Italian landscape - and that face was so breathtaking that Guido paused his flicking, and we both sat gaping at the screen.
I found out that the film was fittingly called The Face of an Angel, and after some searching, I learned that the actress in the end credits was Genevieve Gaunt, who, incongruously, played Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter films. I have never seen anyone of any species who looked less "like a pug" than Ms Gaunt. XD
So I have officially found my Lúthien. Until the next perfection cycle, that is.
Next MarchofMaedhros! Here's a quick and old one that I'm still very fond of, depecting a moment from my headcanon/fanfic that Maedhros, after having stayed with Fingolfin's people following his rescue, walks back to his own people. It's winter, and it's one of those things I've thought about revisiting more than others. Maybe this month!

The top right piece I did revisit a few years later:

Such ideas often stay with me for a while. :)
