More elfings with critters? and other thoughts

Some thoughts on what's next - I've decided to put SquirrelPunk on the backburner for now. With shipping to the US closed for the time being, I'm deprived of my biggest source of income (it's incredible how much the American market does for me!) So I'm forced (though I'm forced quite willingly) to do stuff that will put food on the table, and Tolkien is best for that. It also gives the squirrels some time to ripen.

(Thanks for all the donations on Ko-fi, by the way! Jeez, you guys are already supporting me, I didn't expect so many to jump in! *sips Yorkshire tea*)

So here's two thoughts. One should come as no surprise - an elflings with critters miniseries, with two or three more in a similar style. I do see Maedhros with a squirrel. What else? Give me your ideas!

I also thought of opening a few dormouse commissions - either in the form of "Your character as a dormouse" portraits with a sort of prompt list for character class, attitude, and props, and cosplay dormice (of characters I know, obviously). I was going to offer them through Etsy or possibly Ko-fi (I'm finding my way around Ko-fi, which looks like a nice complementary thing to Patreon, for one-off things). I plan to offer them as physical watercolours, or of purely digital ones. I will only have a handful of slots available at any time, but will open them again periodically. What do you all think? I might extend the animals to squirrels because I'm quite familiar with them by now.
