Flowery Asfaloth

It's funny how Camargue-y he looks with that yellow tint! I really only did it to differentiate him from the flowers. :P

Okay, and he *is* based on a Camargue horse I photographed at a reenactment show. But normally my horses don't show it that much!

I'm not sure - I'm still sitting on so many of the "Unicorn" t-shirts I made two years ago. I think it's too in-your-face as a shirt, but I might be wrong.

Oh, this is so beautiful! I love the detail, the colours, the flowers ... it feels very soft and lush. <3 And I agree that it would look fantastic on a shirt or as a sticker!

Lovely! Oh, I would like to have this design on a T-shirt. Wouldn't that be pretty? ^^

I love what you've done with the flowers... It's as if they each have a beryl in the center

So beautiful!

True, he does look like a Camargue horse (great horses btw! So brave and kind and steadfast), and it's perfect for Asfaloth - Although, maybe a Camargue horse would be too short (those horses are quite small) for our tall Glorfindel? but who cares? he looks perfect here! :p

Rochallor would definitely, absolutely be an Andalusian. Most beautiful horses I know.

Jenny Dolfen

He’s beautiful! Camargue as elf horses models seems fitting, somehow. Rochallor would have to be somewhat sturdy!

I love them - they're on the stocky side but have really beautiful faces. I have folders and folders full of reference of Camargue horses. They're a very old race, and are often used by Roman reenactors - and those are great to photograph as they don't cover so much of their beasties! I have a lot of mediaeval jousting photos, too, but those horses are really all covered up in cloth and there isn't much to see...

So beautiful! As one totally ignorant in the topic I had to google what Camargue horses are... Filled that knowledge gap now. 😂 They look so nice, I can totally understand the reference!
