Added 2020-02-20 16:18:14 +0000 UTCYou'll note I changed the poses (Maedhros a bit and Fingon a lot). I had already started to pencil the first version, Maedhros was finished and lovely, and I noticed how stupidly uninvolved they were sitting side by side, and I felt I wanted to add something happening. Something nice, definitely.
I was looking at pictures I took on my last few England holidays for reference of ponds and vegetation, and came upon a couple of photos of my kids in Glastonbury in 2017. They were sitting at a pond near the abbey ruins and you can see them squealing with delight on the photos as they discovered there were fish living in the pond, who had suddenly started to nibble their toes.
So there. XD

I would actually think Valinor trout are at least as trusting as nature reserve trout. Unlike Shire squirrels, which knew to flee at once once BIlbo Baggins stooped for a stone!

Iβm all for high tragedy, donβt get me wrong lol, but images like this are a balm for all the sadness and pain JRRT subjects his elves. Aaaahhhhhhhh. β€οΈ

2020-02-20 17:18:24 +0000 UTCI'm loving this so much Jenny! I really like how you changed Fingon's pose. For me, I don't think Fingon is one for holding still! XD The addition of the stream and fish is just wonderful! I think this is going to turn out amazing. If you're going for autumn (or rusted green) coloured foliage, then the stream is definitely adding great balance to the scheme. Either way, I still love it!
