I do plan to finish this one today (it's my day off today, so I was able to do the lineart this morning). Because OH BOY is giving the Prancing Pony Podcast giving me picture ideas! I've started writing them down, haha. There's at least two that I've already completely thought through, too.
"The Prophecy of the North". This one I've wanted to do for years, and never thought of a perspective to give it justice, but I think I've got it now.
"He sang a song of Valinor". !!!!

Feanor's death. I haven't drawn that since 1995!
Maedhros gives the horses to Fingolfin. Also, last painted in 1995.
Aaaaand if I find absolutely spot-on ref of someone charging head-on on a horse... Fingolfin's last ride.
On another note, I sent off the pin order today. They gave me a delivery date of 14 February, so yay for Valentine's day!

All your Silmarillion ideas sound very exciting, Jenny. Can’t wait to see your creativity unfold throughout the year. So glad you’re enjoying the PPP. It’s my favorite Tolkien podcast, and their humorous take on The Silmarillion allowed me to FINALLY read it through cover to cover. (I usually am overcome with sadness around the Turin chapter, and then read the rest of the book piecemeal.)
