Have you heard of these Body-kun dolls? I've seen them advertised quite often, and never really thought I'd ever get another manikin. (I used to have a wooden one in my early twenties, and wouldn't you know it, one day he fell off the shelf and broke off his right hand. I thought that was pretty epic. Not that he ever needed it anyway.)
Then I found this one far cheaper on Amazon than I usually see them advertised, and thought, what the heck. They certainly look as if they can do far more stuff than one of those wooden folks.
From the photos I'd seen, they actually looked quite expressive. And tell you what - they are! Here he's posing for "Burning of the ships" or maybe "Surely that is a Silmaril that shines now in the West?".
Oh, and yes, his right hand is detachable. XD And they have loads of stuff that come with them - katanas, phones, laptops, and guns.

Argh, that does sound like another postal nightmare! At least they weren't damaged - they don't take a lot of punishment.

They didn’t go very cheap; besides, bringing them to Mexico was an utter NIGHTMARE. Mail got delayed, her package was misplaced... it was not until half a year had passed that she could get her hands on her manikins. She uses them now regularly. Yes, Mexican mail usually gets this awful. 😰 But enough of that... I’m very thrilled about the new pieces... already daydreaming about the second pose... 😍
