Layering work
Added 2019-01-17 07:55:33 +0000 UTCHow could I have forgotten what great layers you get on Vidalon paper? (The Hunt was painted on that as well; nuff said! ;)) I can build up extremely light layers, build detail, without getting too dark but still very detailed.
I've also just received a little package of paint from M.Graham. I'd never tried those paints as they're pretty expensive over here, but wow! They have little sets of five colours which harmonise wonderfully together and make fantastic medium blends. They're advertised as super-transparent; well, since I usually go for super-transparent anyway, they're not that much of a change. But those colour combinations they give you are just beautiful.
Looking forward to the figures... horses! But first, need to hop into town and get myself more tea. XD

The colors and the details of the landscape are so pretty! Let's see... the ominous, shadow-like mountain to the left could be Angband, while the green one to the right is Himring? Or am I getting my Beleriand geography all mixed?
