A radiant brow shining bright
Added 2016-10-21 18:38:27 +0000 UTCOkay, I seriously, seriously can't believe I painted this. God! When I told people I was going to take an art class, a lot tapped their foreheads. I had a feeling that an art class might be an idea, but this - I seriously didn't think I'd produce stuff like this after five weeks. O_O
(And least of all, I expected tips like "buy new brushes!" to hit home like this!)
Taliesin, Watercolour on Fabriano cold-press paper. 19 cm.
I wanted to film this - but my battery just wasn't up to it. I bought another battery now plus a loading device, so I hope the next piece will be easier to record. But I took a lot of photos and will put together a plaid tutorial.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying and benefiting from your art class :-) It is encouraging to me, a beginner, to see an already amazing artist find enjoyment in learning even more. You constantly make me want to challenge myself. However, I'm my worst enemy and often talk myself out of working on the things I want to do. I hope I can gain some confidence. Again, wonderful work!
