Forbidden bathing

As she climbed the high steps, Tyr'ahnee came upon an immense artificial pool of pink water.
Intrigued, Queen Marcienne demanded that the recently subjugated locals explain what it was all about.
They replied that it was a divine lake, built by their gods, and that it was forbidden to bathe in it or drink from it.
But Tyr'ahnee had no regard for these ‘false beliefs’, so she decided to show everyone that there was no one above her.
Defying the prohibition of these people's beliefs, she decided to bathe in it until her whole body was immersed, and swam until she could no longer stand in the centre of the divining pool.
She was proud to show that nothing could happen to her... until she saw the whole world shrink around her.
Tyr'ahnee didn't seem to be lying when she said that no one was above her, now that she dominated everyone from her new height.
