Mouse at the University

Bored and in need of a change, Gadget decided to take a break from the Rescue Rangers.
She wanted both to learn and enrich her culture, so she decided to take advantage of the new school year to attend university.
Her choice was Goblin's University, a well-known institution in her hometown, where she could make her mark and attend classes in all discretion.
Gadget was happy to attend her first classes, even if neither the teachers nor the students were aware of her presence, she always managed to participate on an equal basis with the others.
And that's where she met him, Lucas, a handsome, intelligent young man she fell under the charm of.
Although he was human and she a mouse, this didn't slow down Gadget's feelings, who couldn't stop loving him more, the more she got to know the handsome boy, even if he ignored her existence.
Lucas had a dream, putting an end to hunger in the world, and to do that, he had a project.
A machine capable of making food bigger, so even the smallest portion could be enlarged and feed an entire family.
For weeks, Gadget observed her human working on his project, helping him discreetly whenever she could, not only to see his dream come true, but also to go and take a closer look at him in his sleep, or even to "get closer".
But one evening, some small men who had learned of young Lucas's work, tried to appropriate the prototype of his machine.
Gadget, witnessing the scene, tried everything she could to prevent them from taking her human's prototype.
Lacking a solution, she short-circuited the machine to make it unhinge and scare off the intruders.
However, Gadget was hit by a beam from the machine and was far from doubting what was about to happen to her...
