Hi again, everyone! I'm really, really sorry it's taken as long as it has to get this out. I'm better now, but this chapter and the next are fairly complicated ones I really wanted to get right, so it's taken me a bit to sort my brain back out.
There's no world where the next one takes nearly as long. I've already moved some stuff from my draft of this chapter to the next, and I'm canceling some plans I had next month to take better care of my weird nightmare child. We're back, and I hope it's worth the wait.
