Free Members: Quick Question

Hello!

Thank you very much for reading The Elf Who Would Become A Dragon. This message isn't to guilt you into joining as a paid member — I don't know your situation, and speaking as someone who is quite broke, I know how awful it feels to want to support someone but not have the means. My assumption is that people will always help what they love however best they can. <3

No, the purpose of this message is to only to ask you for your candid feedback:

What would it take for you to join?

If the answer is "A better financial situation!" then this message isn't for you, and I hope life gives you the comfort and stability you deserve.

But, if you're able to afford it, yet currently choosing not to, I want to know how I'm failing you. What is it about either the work in progress, or the offering on the Patreon, that isn't worth your investment?

I don't take it personally. The only way to get better at what we do is by taking honest feedback seriously, and learning from our errors. To make no mistakes it to never improve. Right now, I'm not as successful with my Patreon as I'd like to be, and if I'm not prepared to be told why then I'll never make it better.

So, what's up? Fill me in. No judgement; this is a safe space. Paid patrons can't see this post, nor can the general public, and if you want utter privacy you can email me via my website.

Thanks for reading, and hope you have a lovely weekend.

Best,

LJ

Hey, looking forward to the future developments. I'd say it's a mixture of factors such as perceived value in the future chapters given, waiting for the story's action to kick in, how dense a section of chapters can be (links to point 1.). But also how easy it is to click a link to patreon or ko-fi at the bottom of the chapters. Notoriety also plays a part as I'm usually on a site called Scribblehub and stumbled on your book in royal road by chance. Hope these help, have a good weekend. ðŸ»
