🧾 Got LastException Errors? Help Me!

If you've run into LastException.txt, mc_lastexception.html, or Better Exceptions files while using ANY mods, I’d love your help! It doesn't matter what the error is for.

🔍 I’m collecting real error logs to expand my in-game Exception Helper so it can give clearer, more useful messages when things go wrong.

📁 You can upload your LE files here, no additional details or registration is needed; just drop as many of your exception files as you can.

Thanks so much for helping make my mods better for everyone. 💛

Hey all, here's a proof of concept. Everything you see is currently working, and I'm just adding more mods to the update list. Also working on a lastexception helper.

Hey guys,

I’ve been learning some more coding, and I’m currently building an application for your IRL computers for a change!

The planned features so far are;

Are there any other features you’d like to see? I’ll be working on a Mac version too, but I’ll need someone to test it for me as I don’t have one myself! Anyone a Mac user? And willing to be a guinea pig? The app will be digitally signed, so safe, and won’t be flagged by your antivirus! Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you so much! You can send the bigger BE (if you want) to me at themidnitetech@gmail.com

I just sent in a mc-LE and a UI BE! I couldnt send in the regular Betterexception because it said the file was too large :(

Stephanie

this is amazing! you're amazing honey

Kimie80

Adeepindigo mods and Lumpinou mods for sure!

Stephanie

Hey all, so this is the working feature list so far; clean launcher game (deletes localthumbcache etc and opens the game), scan mods folder (finds duplicates, unzipped archives & incorrectly installed scripts. It will also move your scripts to the right folder. Also, you can back up your mods, saves and tray to a zip anywhere on your computer with 1 click, and scan your mods folder for missing dependencies (like requiring core library for my mods). There’s an update mods button too, that will check your installed mods against an online database I’m building and let you know if there’s a new version, and provides a link. The database so far, has all of my mods, and a few others like MCCC, UI Cheats, etc. but I am adding more - let me know if there are any mods you’d like adding.

This is such an amazing concept. Cannot wait. You're doing the lords work lol

I'm looking into that! The reason I'm creating this is because (as someone who's neurospicy) I find Discord overwhelming, and I know it's pushed as THE go-to if you're having issues. If you have any more ideas, let me know!

midnitetech

I know it might sound like a lot but would there be any exception help? Sometimes better exceptions don't tell exactly what is broken and why and it drives me crazy

I've been working at it today, and I have it detecting duplicates so far, script mods that are buried too deep, unzipped archives. It also auto deletes the localthumbcache and old lastexception files and launches the game.

midnitetech

PlumbBuddy seems to rely on the modder having a manifest included in their mods though (I haven't researched it thoroughly). Mine will check remotely if an update is available. Besides, I like to exercise my coding skills!

midnitetech

This will be so helpful!

ShamelessSoul24

Have you thought about collabing with PlumBuddy. It does a lot of those things.

mac user here, this would be great! i'm not sure if this is possible but maybe something that can tell us what caused our game to crash.

Lady Applejacks

An app to find duplicates and conflicting mods would be great.
