The look that Ritsu has when Fumiya said they were roommates, looks like the face you might have when someone you like introduces you as “Just a Friend”.

2023-05-05 08:58:04 +0000 UTCI said that thought was Fumiya’s because during their argument in the first episode, he never actually said the words “ Let’s breakup”. He said to Ritsu, “Even if we stay together, it’ll just be hard on both of us.” The Ritsu replies, “What the hell? Are you breaking up with me?” Fumiya says back, “I can’t live with you anymore.” Then Ritsu runs out of the apartment. Based on the wording, I took this to mean Fumiya believed them living together might be hurting their relationship. So after the accident, when Ritsu is back home and acting distant with Fumiya, questioning why he’s being so nice, the inner thought coming from Fumiya makes sense because he thought they just needed space and not to actually break up.
