So I know I'm super late to watching your reactions to this series but I saw a post that season 2 starts 2/8/23 and I wanted to refresh my mind about the series before watching the 2nd season. There is also a movie of this series coming out 4/7/23 (both are listed on My Drama List). I only remembered having mixed feeling about this show and feeling like I was the only one. Everyone talked so much about how amazing this show was that I went into it with really high expectations (which I should never do because then I'm overly critical of the show). But I'm glad to see you had mixed feelings too. Hira's obsession with Kiyoi to the degree that he even acts like his servant was way too much for me. And then his violent fantasies of shooting the other kids in Kiyoi's "friend" group... I was like nope! And then Kiyoi's behavior towards Hira was so shitty, I honestly couldn't understand how anyone liked this show. Was everyone just really into seeing a masochist being super submissive?? But!! For some weird reason... I really liked the last 2 episodes. Even weirder is that this show really stuck with me. I kept thinking about it afterwards and that doesn't happen with a lot of shows. So now I guess I'm stuck being a fan of this show about an obsessed stalker and his narcissistic love interest who is desperate for attention and slightly homophobic. :/ Fingers crossed season 2 is all about them being in a loving, healthy relationship - but I doubt it!
