Development Worklog Road to 0.3
Added 2020-11-16 16:43:26 +0000 UTCThis week was full of good news! 0.2.2 BETA is out now for donator+ tiers. Many of you have played it and I hoped enjoyed it so far. Work on 0.2.3 is already started! I want to take this worklog to build a bit of a roadmap on what to expect and hear your opinions on release scheduling.
When I decided to make Oppai Odyssey, I set out to make it so most of your time is spent on the ship experiencing events and making connections with the crew. The crew's trip to the next mission will be a longer one, spaning multiple updates.
There is so many events and locations that I want to add to the game. But doing so would cause no updates for more than a month. So I decided to take a route of placing your crewmates inside their room as place holders.
As you can see, there is no events for them. In 0.2.2 there are 15 unique events and in the next update there will be more until the ship is filled with unique and meaningful events. Taking this approach update schedule will allow for a steady flow of content untill 0.3 is fully finished.
I would love to hear what you guys think about this plan and for those that played already. What you think of the new update! Love you guys so much.

Good point. didn't consider that since I've already played the game but yeah that is also an option.

2020-11-18 16:23:10 +0000 UTCPersonally I would prefer more events even if you need 1-2 month to release it, because at least for me feels more enjoyable an update where you have a "long" gameplay until finished, if it's too short of events I dont have enough time to feel immersed in the course of history.

2020-11-16 17:22:02 +0000 UTCbasically you want to work on the ship crew member events? sounds good. the way you have it set out will be good too because i am a little worried about people getting bored of "just being on the ship" the way you've set it out people can tell you if they think its taking too long to the next place. hopefully that's what you meant and I'm not an Idiot. Keep up the good work dude.
