Preview/Update 20/9/21
Added 2021-09-19 17:01:02 +0000 UTCMorning all! I actually got an update done on time! Yay me! And say hello to Ben’s new personal assistant, Gaila, who is in love with Archer like everyone else. And also another pirate. Because I have so much fun with the pirates.
Self Insert Dark should be done sometime this week, for those of you holding off on reading the unedited draft. I’d like to just reiterate, though, that they’re unedited by Rice, not by me. I edit my own drafts before sending them off to him as a second set of eyes, which is why things rarely end up changing much, so don’t go thinking it’s super rough or anything. But, the final version will be done soon. Don’t worry about the canon chapter being late, I’m chewing through that one like a… a… well, I’m getting it done hella fast, is what I’m trying to say. I’ll make sure I throw together a vlog this month if it kills me, too.
I kinda don’t know what else to say this week. I spent Friday night hanging out with some mates, drinking beer and playing Soul Calibur 6. Which was awesome. Great game, too, which helped. I kinda squealed a little when I realised that Wendee Lee actually does the voice of Xianghua, because I fucking love Wendee Lee’s work. We just kinda worked our way through all the characters, trying everyone out and just having a good time. I’ve also started watching The Witcher on Netflix, which is alright. I hate the way the story jumps around so much, because it took me five episodes to realise it was taking place over three time periods. I’m a dumbass like that, I know. But, having never read the books or played the games, I’m still enjoying the series. Henry Cavill is actually a lot better in the role of Geralt than I thought he would be, so I’m pretty impressed.
