Okay! I’m late, but I’m finally getting this damn update done! Have a look at the next Self Insert chapter.

Hello to all my new patrons! I’m guessing y’all signed up after SI!Dark went public? I hope you’re all enjoying the backlog, at any rate. In fact, overall SI!Dark has actually been getting a lot more positive attention than I was expecting. Wait til we get to the fuckin’… XD

I am pushing to get this Self Insert chapter done on time. I’ve just been… vegging out these last few days. But hopefully it’s done and off to Rice by the weekend. Dark polls will go up for next month’s chapter either today or tomorrow. And I’m in the planning stages of the next Blazing Trinity chapter, too. It’s all happening!

I finally got around to watching the last of the Evangelion Rebuild movies, 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. It was just as weird as it’s name. Just call it Evangelion 4, for God’s sake! Points to Amazon for getting so many of the ADV era English cast back, it was all one hell of a nostalgia trip. But this movie was ample proof that not all directors benefit from having unlimited creative control, because two and a half straight hours of pure, undiluted Hideaki Anno is a terrifying thing. Solid movie, though. For me, this has been twenty years in the making; the Evangelion franchise has always been super influential and important to me, so I’m always happy to see it getting more love like this.

My brother and I are gearing up for our tie-breaker Lord of the Rings mini game. My army is pretty much just Treebeard, Galadriel, Haldir and a handful of elves. His army is being led by, in his own words, “Big Dick Imrahil”. For those of you not up on your Tolkien lore, Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth was actually a pretty major player in the War in Gondor, and I believe is either Boromir and Faramir’s uncle or second cousin (because Tolkien did his damndest to make the Middle Earth royal families as realistically confusing as possible). Anyway, he’s a fucking beast in the tabletop game; we play at a 500 point level, and Imrahil and six fully upgraded Knights of Dol Amroth are damn near 600 points alone. I am terrified, but I’ll be sure to publish the result.

Okay, I think that’s enough rambling for another day. Thanks again for another week of support, and Nagaspeed!
