Preview/Update 6/6/21
Added 2021-06-06 15:08:42 +0000 UTCMorning, all! Hope everyone’s doing well. I added Archer to the breakfast scene and wanted to share. I’m beginning to realise that this old dog makes every scene he’s in at least ten times better.
Okay, so I’m trying something different with Dark this month. It’s not going well so far. But, I’m still pushing, because variety is the spice of life. Unfortunately I keep getting distracted by regular Self Insert, which is going great by the way, so it’s driving me nuts.
Hopefully I’ll have some time to clean the Patreon posts up towards the end of the month. Make up some PDFs and ebooks, just kinda streamline things a bit. Three years of clutter is a lot to get through. I shoulda done this sooner.
I’ve been playing some games again in my almost non-existent free time (I know, I know, I suck at work life balance). The Mass Effect Legendary HD upgrades are just the best. This game is beautiful. I can’t wait to get onto the other two. I’ve also been playing a little Hired Gun, a new shooter based in the Warhammer 40k universe. It’s just budget Doom, but it’s fun and it’s 40k, so I give it a pass. I’ve been contemplating old Warhammer Fantasy army lists and tactics as well. Mostly while I’m at work. While there’s something to be said about the freedom of army building and the wealth of tactical options said freedom offers in Age of Sigmar, I still fondly recall the strict, regimented style of Oldhammer. Maybe I’m just being nostalgic. But I found a fan-made army book that’s basically Warhammer Celts and I’m in love. One of the book’s characters is ‘Connor McFued’, and yes, he’s a straight up Highlander reference and I love it.
Okay, enough rambling for another week. I’m gonna try and get some serious progress happening on this Dark chapter, so wish me luck! Thanks again for all your support, and Nagaspeed!
