So, new Self Insert goodness in June. Elfsekai is… uh… well… yeah. I hit a roadblock. I’m trying to describe the Elf Village and I really need it to be perfect. So. Writer’s block. Canon SI is already a third done, though, so I’ll get back to working on it ASAP.
I’ve actually thought a lot about the meta of the story, too. Elfsekai, I mean. Because yes, I want this to be more than just harem fantasy jokes. And you know what I think would be an interesting direction to eventually take Elfsekai in? To start with a sort of Barsoom feel, but eventually move into a kind of parallel to something like The Wizard of Oz. So, like, a journey through the new world with a harem replacing Dorothy's companions, but kinda paralleling their plight. I just really want to lean more into the old western isekai stories from the early 1900s than into the current Japanese tropes, and kinda use that setting as commentary on said tropes. But! I also want to write this as something you can just enjoy on surface level, too. So everyone gets something.

I redownloaded Vermintide 2 the other day. God I love Left 4 Dead clones. I don’t have much time to play it, but… I got it again lol. I should really get my shit together and play more Mass Effect, though. I burned out on sidequests. One hour and I’ll be hooked on the main game again. I know it. But, instead I paint. And write.

Although, I will admit that I have been intending to compile a lot of stuff into easy ebooks and stuff for a while now... but I'm lazy, too. However, it is my policy that if even one person asks, that counts as there being demand. I've put a note on my board above my desk, and I'll get on it as soon as my schedule allows.

I know its my lazy ass thats speaking but I wonder if you have the updated archives of each story because I feel too lost and you have been working a lot! I mean you got Elfsekai, Self insert, Self insert dark, Self insert supports. If you have time obviously because its a lot! I hope you don't mind and take your time with your work, its amazing!
