So, I’ve actually run into a bit of a roadblock with the canon SI story. I’m gonna focus on Dark for a while until I figure out how to get past it. I think I tried to skip too much, so I’m gonna go back and put a new scene at the start of the chapter, see if that makes it flow a little better. Dark progresses well. I almost have another chapter-length chunk of Matter of Pride done, I just want to finish this one scene and it’ll be done. So. Progress!
I don’t really have much to say about my personal life this week. I’m avoiding all public spaces like the plague, not because of COVID fears but because of something far more insidious... Christmas songs. I am super excited about the next book in my favorite series coming out next year; it’s been nearly ten years, and the author left us on one motherfucker of a cliffhanger. The novel is Penitent by Dan Abnett, and it continues the 40K Inquisition story he started with the Eisenhorn books back in the early 2000s. Also, an Italian melodic death metal band I really like, Defamed, released their first EP this week. So it’s been a pretty good week, I guess.
