Wahoo! One-freaking-hundred preview/update posts! I cannot believe we finally hit triple digits. I may have to start dating them instead of numbering them. Here’s a look at the big reunion in the next chapter of the Self Insert as celebration.

So, SI!Dark went up on the weekend, and I’ll do some polls for next month hopefully in the next week or so. Not really a lot of wriggle room on what needs to happen next chapter, but I’ll figure something out. Canon Self Insert is progressing. I keep getting distracted, but the chapter should be done soon. Ish. I’ve got a couple good jokes I’m proud of in the next Matter of Pride chapter, too, so I’m looking forward to sharing that as soon as it’s done.

I’ve been watching a lot of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated as I’ve been painting. It’s actually surprisingly good. I really appreciate the way they blended episodic story telling with a larger, overarching narrative. Plus all the cameos and references are just great. That Hellraiser cameo damn near killed me I was laughing so hard. I also just finished reading one of the classic Necromunda novels, Survival Instinct, and it’s really cool to see how the story progressed and the world developed from those early days, and what remained consistent. Of course, that’s only if you’re a 40k geek like I am lol. I think we should all just be grateful that the fecalphelia from Ian Watson’s early 40k books remains mostly forgotten (I’m not kidding, look it up).

Also, Intelligent Systems released images of a prototype static figure for Lyn, like the Camilla figure they did a few years ago, and I am barely containing my excitement. A little Fire Emblem stuff, trying to stay on topic.
