Preview/Update 83

Morning all! How we all doing? Still alive? Have a glimpse at the Fire Emblem crossover I’m still working on.

Real talk, I’ve still got Metallover Patron physical patches from last year. If anyone wants one that missed out, or wants another, send me a DM. It costs me, like, a buck to send them out, and I’ve already got them, so just DM me if you want one.

So, Dark ch14 should come out sometime this evening (in the States). Rice has been busy with real life stuff (I know, how dare he have a life!?) so he’s been a little preoccupied, but hopefully he can get this done today and the first chapter of SI!Book 3 not long after. As far as this Awakening/Lysithea crossover goes, I don’t actually know if I’m gonna get it done this month. I’m waiting for lightning to really strike and inspire me so that I don’t feel like I’m just plodding along with it. But we’ll see what happens; I am working on it.

I have been watching a lot of stuff this last week, too. I actually powered through all five seasons of Netflix’s She Ra, which legitimately surprised me with how good it was. I’m talking The Last Airbender levels of emotional investment from me (no, I’m not saying it’s as good as The Last Airbender, just in the same level of quality storytelling and characters)(Also, yes I am rewatching The Last Airbender again, too). Definitely something I’d recommend. Then, because I can only take so much power of friendship kind of stuff, I started in on Castlevania season 3, which is pretty much just more of seasons one and two and I love it. Kind of a tonal 180, though, but I still love this dark fantasy kind of crap. After Castlevania, my plan is to finally sit down and watch all of Robotech. I never actually watched it all, so I’ve decided to finally do it.

All of this, hopefully, before things get back into high gear at work. Luckily, Australia’s really bouncing back fast from the pandemic. I’m already back at work on reduced hours. And I spent two whole shifts moving furniture so we could clean the carpets. Not fun. But, work is work, and I’m happy to just be out of the house.
