Malfoy Downfall 2
Added 2023-02-11 21:13:07 +0000 UTC(POV Sirius)
My eyes scanned over the papers spread out on the table. Each one contained information about the Malfoys - their daily routines, the places they visited, the friends they hung out with, and the tea parties Narcissa attended. I cross-checked the information to make sure it was correct, but my main focus was on Malfoy's most profitable businesses:
- exporting and importing artifacts,
- selling potion ingredients from magical plants to animal parts
- magical creature husbandry.
My plan was simple. I wanted to attack these facilities and spook Malfoy into a defensive position, creating a barrier between him and his allies. The attacks would signal someone was taking revenge, and no one would want to paint a target on their back by helping Malfoy. By masking the magical signature, the culprit would be impossible to find, sending the Aurors on a wild goose chase. This would make Malfoy look weak, and eventually, Elliot would invite him to France for business.
"So how are we going to mask our magical signature? With Malfoy's influence, he might even bring in people from the Department of Mysteries to search for us," Bella asked after our discussion.
Instead of answering her, I called out to Kreacher. "Kreacher, bring the box!" A box appeared on the floor with a thud. Opening it, I was greeted with guns, ammunition, dynamites, and grenades. I had a collection of firearms, including the M16A2, Kalashnikov, AMT Lightning pistol, and Astra A-100.

Looking at the box full of weapons, I couldn't help but smile. These firearms were old compared to modern weapons, but after adding some runes and enchantments, they would become even more powerful and leave no magical signature.
"Merlin! Don't tell me I'm going to be using muggle weapons to attack wizards," Bella exclaimed.
"Well, after I add some runes and enchantments, they will become pretty powerful. Most importantly, they will not leave any magical signatures," I replied, trying to ease her fears.
"But I don't want to use muggle stuff. I don't even know how to use them," she complained.
"And you won't use them, just drop some stuff," I said.
She huffed and walked away. "Fine, whatever."

~ROOM~
Runes are symbols from ancient dead languages, such as Latin, Ancient Greek, and Old Norse. When you carve a symbol from one of these languages with intention, magic is brought to life corresponding to that intention. Depending on the formation, runes can be activated by absorbing ambient magic or your own magic. Currently, I am carving runes on guns.
ambient magic = ᚾᚨᛏᚢᚱᛖ ᛗᚨᚷᛁᚲ
fast = ᚠᚨᛋᛏ
muffled sound = ᛗᚢᚠᚠᛖᛚᛖᛞ ᛋᛟᚢᚾᛞ
absorbing heat = ᚨᛒᛟᛋᚱᛒᛁᚾᚷ ᚺᛖᚨᛏ
penetration = ᛈᛖᚾᛖᛏᚱᚨᛁᛟᚾ
One of my best works with runes is an amalgamation of a summoning charm and a variation of a "point me" charm. These runes have been carefully crafted to maximize their effectiveness, given my limited experience with this art.
Both the bullets and magazine have a summoning rune, represented by the symbol ᛋᚢᛗᛗᛟᚾᛁᚾᚷ(summoning rune), which will automatically refill the bullet into the magazine.
For the "point me" rune, it helps to aim directly at the target, thus reducing the chances of missing the shot.
Next, I added runes to the grenades and TNT. The first rune, ᛗᚨᛪᛁᛗᚢᛗ (maximum), will increase its output. The second rune, ᛁᚾᚡᛁᛋᛁᛒᛚᛖ (invisibility), will make the device invisible. Finally, the third rune, ᚱᛖᛗᛟᛏᛖ ᚲᛟᚾᛏᚱᛟᛚ (remote-controlled), will allow me to control the device remotely.
Holding the Astra A-100, I aimed it at the wall and fired "rat-tat-tat." The bullets penetrated the wall, leaving a hole in the center. Upon examining the result, I smiled with satisfaction.

~Potions Ingredients Facility~Leeds~ Night Time
(Bellatrix POV)
I never had a fondness for herbology. To me, it always seemed like a class for weak individuals who were obsessed with meaningless plants. And now, as I fly over 200 feet above the facility garden, I can add flying to that list. Thank Merlin I never tried Quidditch.
Holding a muggle contraption that Sirius gave her, she powered on the rune, making it invisible. Sirius warned her that it was dangerous and she should use it with caution, but she remained skeptical. She threw the device downwards, moving on to other areas with open windows. Throwing it out of the window may have alerted someone, but they would find nothing. After checking her inventory and finding no more of the "grenades," she shrugged and flew away, keeping Sirius's warning in mind despite her skepticism. Once she was a safe distance away, she activated the other rune-powered object that Sirius called a "remote control." When nothing happened, she was amused and believed that muggles could never amount to anything.
"BOOOOOM!"

The night almost turned red; even at such a distance, she could feel heat waves on her skin. She was certain that if she was closer, she would have burned.
"Gulp." She flew away from the area. On her way home, she still couldn't get the picture of the explosion out of her mind. Fear clawed through her at the thought that all muggles could possess something like this..

~Newcastle Artifact Facility~
(Sirius POV)

Excitement coursed through me as I prepared to use guns for the first time in this world. Holding the last Black Ward-breaking portkey, I pushed through the wards, instantly alerting everyone.
As I heard shouting and questions, I quickly threw low-powered grenades in all directions from which I could hear voices. Chaos erupted as the explosions engulfed the area. Suddenly, I heard a whisper of movement, and I spun just in time to see one of the disoriented wizards step out of the room. The wizard's eyes widened in surprise, but before he could react, a bullet went through his head.
Ducking the spell that was headed towards me, I quickly surveyed the situation and saw that wizards were approaching from all directions, with burns and other injuries.
"Blimey, the bloody bastard was the one who sent the explosion," one of them muttered. "You dirty wanker, you will pay for this," another one of the wizards shouted. "Wait, he doesn't have a wand. What the hell is he? A Muggle?" another wizard realized. "How did he break in? How did he cause the explosion?" they wondered. "F*cking animal, we'll torture him until he talks," one of them said.
Not giving them any time to react, I started firing in quick succession, taking out two of the wizards. They raised their wands, and a barrage of spells began to fly at me. I ducked and weaved through the magical attacks, my enhanced physical prowess allowing me to stay one step ahead. But the wizards were relentless, and their spells became more intense.
During my dodging, I continued firing, taking out the wizards. But the narrow space of the corridors forced me to take cutting and rotting curses on my sides. One clipped me on my shoulder.
"How is he so fast?" one of the wizards asked.
"He's a vampire," another wizard replied.
"F*ck," yet another wizard muttered.
I grunted as I could feel my skin rot and blood seeping through my clothes where I had taken the cutting curses. I was tempted to take my wand out and start a blazing fire, but I had to stick to my plan.
"No, look, he's bleeding. He's a Muggle with enhanced speed, or has undergone a ritual. Those weapons are likely enchanted," one of the wizards said.
When they grouped together, with a few of them erecting shields while the others fired spells, I threw an invisible grenade, which exploded right in the midst of the shields, momentarily disorienting them. I seized the opportunity to run forward and fired bullets that swiftly took them out.I needed to end this seriously.
Despite my momentary victory, a spell whooshed past my ear and I nearly lost my life. My heart was pounding so hard that I only survived because the other person missed. All of my arrogance vanished in an instant.
Spinning on my heels, I ducked and weaved to dodge the incoming spells. I spotted the person casting the spells and shot them, taking them out.
I needed to end this seriously.
