Hey everyone! Few things to note:
Thanks for your support over the past week. It was a busy one for me. But it was also the first week I made a slight effort in pushing my Patreon. It ended up going way better than I expected, and thanks to your generous support: This is the first month in a while that I will be able to save extra money to be able to go to Industry events.
The first industry event coverage is already in mid-stage planning right now. It will be for what's known as "SID Displayweek" which is, as you can probably guess, the largest event dedicated to Display technology for the present and future. It's in May.
They have a larger focus on XR displays than ever before. And I also do not think I have seen other content creators give coverage of this hardware event. So it's a great opportunity.
First confirmed meetup/interview at SID: CEO and COO of eMagin. Which is the company I have high suspicions whom are working directly with both Meta and Valve for OLED MICRODISPLAYS!
I am also in early-planning stages for AWE which is focused more on Augmented Reality. That will be in June and I already have received a special press pass.
I also just wanted to give a heads up that I will likely be taking a one-week YouTube break to get out of my "manic mode" that I tend to get into with these busy weeks.
If something important pops up privately during this week, I will likely post something anyway. But am not going to actively look for it.
I am also starting to seek out 3D modelers with experience in making good-looking industrial design mockups. The main reason is: I want to communicate with everyone what Meta Cambria's final form will look like when it releases this year. Since I have seen it.
Thanks again, you're all the best!
